Join us as we hear from Broken Arrow High School teacher and 2018 Oklahoma Teacher of the year Donna Gradel. She will talk about her 30 years in the classroom as an educator and her innovate approach which challenges students to find solutions to real world problems. For the last 22 years, Mrs. Gradel has taught AP Environmental Science and Innovative Research and serves as the Science Department Chair.
Along with being the recipient of 2018 Oklahoma Teacher of the Year, she has also received 2017 Presidential Innovative Award for Environmental Educators, 2015 Henry Ford National Innovative Teacher Award, 2014 Medal of Excellence for Secondary Teaching in the State of Oklahoma, and 2013 MIT Inspirational Teacher Award.
